When Wild Honey Frozen Yogurt owner and “Queen Bee” Theresa Ward opened up her 7175 N. Davis Highway location nearly nine years ago alongside her husband, she never imagined expanding to a second location someday.
As the fro-yo trend has continued to rise and fall over the past decade, the business has not only survived, but thrived because of its loyal community and customers, Ward said.
“We were looking for something family friendly, something we could pour ourselves into. A place where families and people of all kinds could come and meet and connect,” said Ward of the original Wild Honey concept.
After years of watching her shop serve as the backdrop of people’s memories in Pensacola, she felt it was time to open a second shop in Pace with the help of her son-in-law, Zack Kaderly. The new “hive” will replace the former Sweet Frog at 4871 US 90 and is slated to open this January.
