Jen Walters made her debut with MCU’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which is one of the new titles and superheroes introduced in Phase 4. The show recently wrapped up and the finale episode has left fans with many questions about the MCU’s future as well as its timeline. Earlier this year, MCU’s official timeline order section on Disney+ revealed that She-Hulk took place before the events of Thor: Love And Thunder. However fans were left confused when one of the characters in the show mentioned Lady Thor.

With many shows and movies releasing together, the timeline has not been easy to keep track of. Now in the finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law a reference to Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor as Lady Thor has not received positive feedback. According to the official timeline, Phase 4 began with Black Widow and goes on in the order that the movies and shows have released, including Hawkeye followed by MoonKnights, then She-Hulk, Ms. marvels, and finally Thor: Love and Thunder.
The previously established timeline makes it hard for a side character to name-drop Lady Thor. The unnamed character said, “Why does there even need to be a She-Hulk? It’s not like there’s a He-Hulk. And Lady Thor… Guys, she just sucks. Okay? And I’m not just saying that because she’s a female. I would have the exact same criticisms if she was a man.”
One explanation for the same is expected to be the length of the show’s release. Perhaps, She-Hulk and Thor: Love And Thunder are taking place at the same time. The show likely takes place in the span of several months since Jen Walters first got her powers, and it could have coincided with the events of the Asgardian sequel. Meanwhile, some theories also claim that the character is using “Lady Thor” to refer to King Valkyrie.
